Last week Friday my mom came to visit which was fun. We went out for lunch (a nice break from The Rock), and did a little shopping! It was nice seeing her again.
Saturday was the first football game, vs. Lake Erie and thankfully we won! It was chilly but fun as well. Believe it or not I missed high school football games when I was watching ours. I miss doing the cheers with everyone and filling the stands.
It's been cooling off over the past week, but then it got back into the 80's again this week. I'm realizing how cold and not fun the winters are going to be here! Of course I chose a school where the winters are ridiculously cold..oh well!
This weekend we might go to ArtPrize for something to do. It'll be weird not going with my family but it'll still be fun going with friends!
I loved being able to spend some time with you last week too! I would have loved to have stayed longer but I realize it's not cool to have your mom hang out with you in your dorm & since there really is not an abundance of things to do in Big Rapids, well.....lunch & Meijers was great. :) I'd be happy to visit again, the drive isn't bad at all, although I'm not sure that I will be wanting to do that by myself in the middle of winter.
